👉 Electrification is the key to decarbonisation as around 60% of primary energy supply does not pass through the electricity sector, which is used in sectors like transportation, buildings, and industry, which are not yet electrified.

👉 The share of electricity in global final consumption has slightly increased, reaching 21% in 2024. It has increased by 3.3 percent since 2010 (17.8%).

𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 is the only country which has 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝟮𝟬% 𝗲lectrification rate (𝟭𝟱.𝟲%) among top 12 countries with 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆. ( See chart in this post – https://lnkd.in/gHn8rCzq)
