The primary reason for the stagnation of the 𝗣𝗠 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘆𝗮𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝘂𝗳𝘁 𝗕𝗶𝗷𝗹𝗶 𝗬𝗼𝗷𝗻𝗮 (𝗣𝗠𝗦-𝗠𝗕𝗬) scheme is the concentration of installations in few states.

🚩 Gujarat, with just 10.8% of national gross applications, covered 28.4% of gross national household coverage.

🚩 Maharashtra, with just 10.2% of national gross applications, covered 24.3% of gross national household coverage.

🚩 Uttar Pradesh, with just 18.4% of national gross applications, covered 12.6% of gross national household coverage.

🚩 Andhra Pradesh with 23% of national gross applications, covered just 3.4% of gross national household coverage.

🚩 The top 3 states of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh covered 40% of total applications, 59% of total installations and 65% of total households.

🚩 The top 5 states (the top 3 + Kerala and Rajasthan) cover 48% of total applications, 73% of total installations and 77% of total households.

🚩 The top 10 states (the top 5 + Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Uttarakhand and Tamil Nadu) cover 85% of total applications, 90% of total installations and 91% of total households.
