Share of Carbon-Free Electricity (CFE) is 31.2% in total electricity generation in FY 2025-26
✅ The good news: percentage share of carbon-free electricity (CFE) increases by 4.5% between April and November 2025 (compared to same period in 2024)
❌ The bad news: This is due to low thermal generation and the lowest overall electricity generation in FY 2024 and 2025 in November 2025.

👉 Total electricity generation stays 2.93 Billion Units less during April-November 2025 compared to same duration in 2024
👉 The increase in percentage share is largely due to better performance by wind and hydro. Solar did not contribute to this increase, though it contributed to the majority of renewable capacity addition in 2025.
